Let’s look at the first one. “Act” doesn’t quite mean MISBEHAVE. “Act up” does, however. “Take out” could mean ELIMINATE. “Pick up on” seems to go with RECOGNIZE, “Figure out” for DETERMINE, and “Hang with” for SOCIALIZE.
