If you are going to shoot through tall grass, i would chose a tall harris instead the 6-9 inch ones. also i use #6 Euro Rail Adaptor, some rail and stocks need the #7A Angled Shim for a tight fit, so far on my 22lr, i have not had the adaptor come off with recoil. to me the #721-SL Harris 9-13" S type is the best fir for varmints. WebBe aware there is some variance in the geometry of what is called an Anschutz rail. Some minor fitting on the locating bosses, t-nuts, and screw protrusion length could be needed. WebMar 16, 2006 · Well, the Anschutz rail is 3" high, with a spread (from center of one foot to centre of other) of 4.5". I think, unfortunately, that will be too low. I'll call Fred at Choate today and see if he knows of a crafty solution. Still love the idea of a bipod that has no moving parts and costs very little.
