WebBlowing cold air again. Put orange wire back the way it was at the control board, hooked up the original Trane thermostat, and ran a cool cycle. 24+ volts on orange and cold air blowing. I reset the Nest via the Nest app and on the Nest itself, and on that next cool cycle I had cold air and proper voltage on the orange wire again. WebI am not sure why it is failing to detect the W wire, nor why it is only blowing warm air on the cooling cycle, while the old thermostat is blowing cool air as expected. The system is about a decade old, Trane XR13 outdoor unit, 2TGB indoor unit, but shows as compatible.
